What is the Social Action Team?
We, the Social Action Team of Avalon Schools, are concerned about the drug and alcohol use of local youth and are advocates for prevention.

Life Issues is a group of teens that meet together at Avalon School every Monday during lunch to talk about the tough issues they face in their daily lives. This group provides an atmosphere of acceptance and confidentiality, and group members practice sharing their thoughts and feelings about various topics/issues. Group members are encouraged to take a serious look at who they want to be instead of who they are pressured to be. Life Issues is open to all Avalon Middle School and High School Students.
